Here we go with the warm hued colors – Red, yellow, orange… etc.
These will work great for spring and summer weddings.
What the hell, they’ll work for winter and fall as well!
Screw the color rules, if you want an orange wedding in December or a black wedding in the summer, do it. The closer I get to mapping out my own nuptials the more aggravated I get with set precedence, with the dos and don’ts of this wedding fiasco.
It’s a party, pure and simple. That’s it- wear what you want, do what you want, eat what you want, invite who you want… End of story.
Let’s look at some bad-ass kicks!
These are gorgeous – kind of shiny, but nice and high with delicate straps. Available in green too!
She can do more than put her hair up in a perfect french twist, folks!
Sorry – I am doing this in every color. I cannot help it!
All right, all right, so I like stripper shoes. So what? These shoes are hot (pun intended) and you know it. Prepare yourself for lame jokes if you wear these puppies. Yes, yes, I know my feet are on fire…
Pretty and pink. Lovely slingback platform.
Cutesy Toots! Love the chunkiness and just how darn unique these little girls are!
Couldn’t help it!
Sophisticated and edgy, lovely splash of color and intrigue poking from beneath your white (or not so white dress). Don’t you think? I’d bring flats for the late hours of reception land!
Cuties! Look totally comfy and just the right shade of spring yellow!
Tips for wearing bright accent colored shoes:
- You can get as funky as you want, but you always strive to look put together. If you accent with shoes, pop on a sash of a similar color, some bright glass jewelry or cocktail rings. Use a fun barrette or flower in your hair. Coordinate the shoes with a belt or your bouquet. Not matchy-matchy of course, but highlight like with like!
- Bright colors tend to make you appear pale while white and muted colors may wash you out. You don’t have to fake bake or spray yourself Jersey Shore orange, just be aware of how colors will affect your pictures. Good lighting can work wonders!
- This is a great way to tie your wedding party together, have everyone wear the same shoes or perhaps your maid’s sashes can match your shoes, the sky is the limit ladies!
Thanks for reading! Sorry there are no flats… I am short. I’ll try to give some lesser heeled options with cool hues, nudes or metallic… all coming soon!
**PS – click on the pics if you want to buy, this goes for yesterdays options too!
